These days American beef importing is a hot issue. But I think FTA is more serious issue than beef stuff. What do you think about FTA? Please answer me.

Absolutely, I am against FTA. FTA has some good benefits to Korea; Our companies can compete with those of other countries more easily in the U.S. by eliminating or reducing tariff rates and so on. However, I think it will have a severe influence on our citizen's health, spirit, education and our unique culture because of its precautions: Korea's import of U.S. beef, abolition of medicine prices'assessment system and so forth

what a tough question it is!!! it's like i have to write an essay with THESIS STATEMENT AND 3 SUPPORTING IDEAS. i'm also against FTA like lina. Why? i can say a few things to you, but i'm afraid to say that everyone or you have already known them. Rather than talking about it, i like to talk about the beef. we SHOULD keep it from exporting from USA. That is not negotiable.

I would have to say that any trade agreement with the US is usually designed to give them the advantage. I don't trust them at all. Canada has had serious econmoic problems from dealing with them and they break the lawa whenever they want to. They are not good trade partners at all

I'm for FTA. We, Korea mostly depend on the trading goods and servece among country. Especially, USA and China are both great market from which we can benefit through trading. Through FTA, in some parts, for exapmle, agriculture or financial service, we could have an bad influence.
